Seniors emotionally entraped in urban societies of India
Pune - known as “Pensioner’s Paradise” has a population of seniors more than 300,000. There is large number of seniors who are not adequately taken care by thier migrated children to different countries, lacks emotional support from their kins.
Dr. S.D. Gokhale, President of ILC-India, cites “As urbanity rises, anonymity increases, thus complicating matters for the elderly”.
